Sisters

This was an interesting shoot. As we were just getting started a reporter came up and and asked if he could take some pics of us and asked some questions. Well, the next day we were in the paper. Pretty exciting. I think this is the first time I've ever been in the paper. The morning the paper came out I got a phone call from a friend I hadn't talked to in a long time. She said was flipping through the paper and there I was.

Aren't these gals beautiful? They were all natural models.

Blue Eyes Family

Here is "Blue Eyes" family. (See her in post below) I really enjoyed this shoot. Thanks.

Oh, you're crying? Here, let me throw you 15 feet in the air. There's the smiles we're looking for. (no child was harmed in the shooting of this picture:)

It's my bedtime and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, cry if I want to...
You would cry too if lot's of pictures were taken of you!!!

Baby Blue Eyes

This little beauty has the most gorgeous blue eyes. She didn't smile much, but it surely didn't matter. She was such a good sport and so much fun to shoot. We also did her family which will be posted later.

Studio vs. Toy room

So, my kids toy room has been a disaster zone for too long. I clean and organize it and they are excited to play in it. Within two days, it's a disaster zone again and they won't set foot in it. It's too overwhelming for them to clean and organize so the cycle begins again. BUT...no more!!! I decided to move all the toys into the unfinished room, since the dress ups are already there. And voilĂ ... I now have a studio. It's fabulous. So, here is my great green wall and my little girl.

Should I paint or keep the green? If I should paint, what color do you think?

Gorgeous family

These are some good friends of ours and aren't they just a beautiful family? The baby is also featured in an earlier post. The vintage pic at the end just seemed to lend itself to an old fashioned look. Did I mention I love photoshop?

Boston

Here's a little boy who LOVES his mom. It was fun to watch the shift between being so shy for the camera, then the smiles and comfort with her. Another neat thing about this shoot is that Brooke (the mom) is one of my former students. As many of you know, I used to be a Jr. High French teacher. I LOVED it and I LOVED my students. It's been great to reconnect with them as adults, either in person or blogs. Brooke ended up getting a job as one of my husbands secretaries. What a coincedence, huh!!!

Nicole and Garrett

Here are detail and candid shots of their wedding. It was so pretty and fun to shoot as I've known Nicole for years and just love her.
